WINNIPEG, CAN. - Eighteen people, including the president of the Manitoba Hells Angels, are facing charges in connection with a joint police investigation targeting the club, its associates and drug-trafficking cells.A source said police used an undercover informant during the operation. Police in Alberta and B.C. were also involved.

3 MEN SENTENCED ON WEAPON CHARGES

BRISBANE, AUS. - Three men have been sentenced for their role in stockpiling weapons to be used against a rival bikie gang as another chapter in Brisbane's motorcycle club war played out in court yesterday.The court heard the Bandidos were arming themselves because of an escalating war with rival club the Rebels.

COPS SAY MAN SHOT HAD TIES TO 81???

WINNIPEG, CAN. - A man who headed a Winnipeg street gang, had a vast criminal past and was known to live a playboy-like lifestyle has been identified as Thompson's third homicide victim of the year.Bekim Zeneli, 33, "died as a result of gunshot wounds," RCMP Sgt. Line Karpish said Sunday.Zeneli was head of LHS -- "loyalty, honour, silence" -- a street gang with ties to the Hells Angels biker gang.

BIKER LOOSES LIFE DURING 81 TOY RUN

CALIFORNIA - The local motorcycling community is grieving the loss of fellow rider and Carmel businessman Richard Whitworth, who was killed Saturday while participating in a Christmas toy run with hundreds of other bikers. Whitworth was a member of the Ephesians motorcycle club which rides out of Bill's Monterey Custom Motorcycles in Seaside, the shop that hosts the Hell's Angels-sponsored toy ride. Bill Enders, owner of the shop, said Whitworth was trying to protect his fellow riders and other motorists when he died.

SCOOT ACCIDENT COST CLUB MEMBER HIS LIFE

GOLD COAST, AUS.- A a 39-year-old member of outlaw motorcycle gang Highway 61, was killed when his bike hit the edge of an exit ramp at Pimpama about 4.50am on Saturday.The Logan man, believed to be a member of the bikie gang's Brisbane chapter, was thrown from his Harley-Davidson which landed on top of him before stopping about 60m away.He died at the scene.

TOY RUN DRAWS USUAL OVERKILL BY COPS

LOS OSOS, CA.- Local law enforcement agencies were out in full force Sunday to keep an eye on the 1st Annual Hell's Angels Central Coast Toy Run.When the bikers gathered in Paso Robles Sunday morning they were greeted by a rather large police presence."There was probably about 50, 60 guys and I saw a tank, a helicopter and it was a little bit overkill," Santa Barbara Hell's Angel Chapter Vice President Mike Lynch.

NIESSEN PLEADS TO OBSTRUCTION & MORRIS'S CHARGES ARE DROPPED

LONDON,ONT.,CAN - A Bandidos supporter pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and all charges against his common-law partner were withdrawn in connection with the largest mass slaying in modern Ontario history.Niessen, 46, of Monkton, Ont,, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and was sentenced to two years in prison for his part in the slaying of eight Bandidos bikers in Shedden, Ont., on April 8, 2006.Two charges were withdrawn by the Crown against Niessen's common-law partner, Kerry Morris, 48.
